Green Power
As a family company, we are committed to a livable future just as much as cost-optimized operation of our logistics services. What started as a pilot project at our Aurach location was expanded a few years ago throughout the company under the name LOXXESS Green Power. The goal: to introduce comprehensive energy standards that go beyond the legal requirements.
Efficiency increasing measures and the use of regenerative energy sources play a central role. In the meantime we have also made our Aurach and Neutrabling locations fit for the future with photo voltaic systems, and supply a majority of the required electricity there from our own power At other locations such as Haiming, intelligent lighting systems were introduced that only turn on when they are actually needed.
With the energy audit performed in the end of 2015 at our locations in Ebermannsdorf, Aurach, Neuburg a. d. Donau and Garching, we have fulfilled the legal obligation for energy efficiency guidelines per EDL-G (energy services law). In the course of the successful audit, we were able to find additional potential for optimization such as an energy management system or the use of LED light tubes.
