Mark Mark Maurer has been a new member of the LOXXESS management since 17 April 2023 and is responsible for pharmaceutical logistics business as a managing director. He act as managing director and spokesperson for the board of LOXXESS Pharma. After working in Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics fields in the industrial, consumer goods and medical industries, he is now switching to the service provider side.

Every year in the run-up to Christmas, LOXXESS supports a regional aid organization with a donation. This year, the sum of 10,000 euros will once again go to the Arche children’s project in Munich Moosach. In this way, the owner-managed family busi-ness supports socially disadvantaged families in the current particularly difficult fi-nancial situation.

Since July 2021, LOXXESS has been part of GS1 Germany’s “Lean and Green” initiative, under which logistics companies significantly reduce their greenhouse gas emissions step by step. The first stage has now been reached: Compared to 2017, LOXXESS produced one fifth less CO2 emissions. For this achievement, the company receives the “Lean and Green 1st Star.”

The annual “Bavaria’s Best 50” award ceremony for medium-sized businesses was held in Schleißheim Castle on July 26. LOXXESS, the logistics service provider, was one of the award winners because it has been able to significantly increase both its sales and its number of employees in recent years. Board member Christina Thurner was also awarded the title of “Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year” in recognition of her active role in the company’s success.

The new extension at the central Franconian facility near Ansbach enables warehousing and fulfillment solutions to be implemented using temperature-monitored logistics. Construction acceptance and obtaining approval for the warehouse and office section has been completed. The newly created modern work areas are now being occupied by employees and storing the first goods in the new 6,000 m² areas has begun.

LOXXESS is moving into a new logistics facility in Warsaw in Poland in order to bun-dle “dm-drogerie markt’s” market entry in Poland into a single facility with our exist-ing customers. The drugstore retailer has been implementing its omni-channel strate-gy right from the very beginning and is continuing its proven cooperation with logis-tics service provider LOXXESS and its innovative concept for online retailing logistics. The new hall now provides 16,500 m2 warehouse and logistics area and it has been in operation since the end of April.

This year’s annual Christmas donation of 10,000 euros by LOXXESS AG will benefit the Arche children’s foundation in Munich-Moosach. It will help the foundation to support children and youngsters belonging to the Christian children and youth organization. CEO Dr Claus-Peter Amberger was there to personally hand over the check.

The laying of the foundation stone at our LOXXESS facility in Aurach took place as planned on October 7, 2021. The logistics and fulfillment service provider is adding 6,000 m2 in response to the increasing demands from the food and beverage sector. The new zone is scheduled to be fully ready for occupancy in early 2022.
