Pharmaceutical expertise for management: Mark Maurer joins LOXXESS

Mark Mark Maurer has been a new member of the LOXXESS management since 17 April 2023 and is responsible for pharmaceutical logistics business as a managing director. He act as managing director and spokesperson for the board of LOXXESS Pharma. After working in Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics fields in the industrial, consumer goods and medical industries, he is now switching to the service provider side.

LOXXESS AG, a medium-sized logistics company specialised in complex logistics and value-added services that is based in Tegernsee, has a new managerial member: Since 17 April 2023, Mark Maurer has been the managing director of LOXXESS Pharma and is the spokesman for its management.

His past positions include leading logistics and supply chain management positions at leading companies in the field of food, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and healthcare. His decades of experience on the manufacturer side allow him to add valuable impetus to the strategic alignment of the pharmaceutical logistics specialist LOXXESS Pharma. Mark Maurer comments about his new position and tasks: “I have gotten to know the colleagues of LOXXESS and LOXXESS Pharma as a committed team with a great deal of know-how, technical expertise and dedication. I want to continue to walk this successful path together, as a team, and in particular to support expansion within Europe”.

As a logistics service provider for medical and pharmaceutical products, LOXXESS Pharma plays an important role in caring for vulnerable people. At the same time, the requirements for storing, handling and transporting medication are becoming increasingly stringent. LOXXESS Pharma specialises, among other things, in logistics services dealing with “orphan drugs”, i.e. medicine for very rare diseases.
