LOXXESS remains the contract logistics provider for Vodafone Germany and continues to ensure efficiency and reliability in the logistics of cable services, including modems and set-top boxes. “After 13 years of cooperation, we continue to rely on our partnership with LOXXESS to implement more sustainable use and responsible supply chains. Logistics services such as returns and refurbishment help to keep products in use for longer and conserve resources,” says Wolfgang Fettes, Director Products and Services Vodafone.
Refurbishment under one roof
Sustainability in particular is a key concern for Vodafone: The refurbishment of modems and set-top boxes in the LOXXESS halls, which has been established for years, extends the life cycle of the devices; functional and quality tests are an integral part of the process. The number of necessary transports is also reduced. “We specialize in developing tailor-made 360-degree logistics solutions for our customers. For Vodafone, we will bundle the entire refurbishment process under our roof in future and will therefore also take over cover exchange and vendor management,” reports Michael Zeidler, Head of Sales Omni-Channel / E-Commerce at LOXXESS.
The partners are continuing a partnership that has existed for 13 years and which they are continuously developing. The contract logistics provider LOXXESS achieves the required efficiency by supporting the entire flow of goods from delivery to dispatch with smart logistics technologies. This is particularly important for Vodafone because it allows the team to concentrate on core tasks and rely on the expertise of LOXXESS for logistics issues. “From incoming goods and storage to returns and refurbishment, we have a reliable partner in LOXXESS that ensures stable and smooth processes,” reports Oliver Hobes, Head of Supply Chain Management Consumer Devices Vodafone.
