PharmaXnet: New GDP pharmaceutical logistics network for Europe

Geretsried-Gelting, 14.04.2026

  • More and more GDP storage partners in Europe controlled from a single source for simplified pharmaceutical logistics.
  • Quality and governance management including standardized reporting.
  • Consulting for market entries of pharmaceutical and life sciences products.

Contract logistics provider LOXXESS has established the GDP pharmaceutical logistics network, PharmaXnet Europe GmbH. “Our clients have expressed a desire to be able to use our reliable, customised solutions in more European countries. Based on our many years of cooperation with qualified partners in other European countries, we have certified additional pharmaceutical logistics providers and launched PharmaXnet,” reports Mark Maurer, who is the managing director of PharmaXnet alongside Michael Kuhn.

PharmaXnet extends LOXXESS Pharma & Healthcare’s network, offering 360-degree services for GDP-certified pharmaceutical logistics. It qualifies and manages local partners to provide clients with flexible, scalable European pharmaceutical logistics solutions from a single source. In doing so PharmaXnet operates independently within the LOXXESS Group and, in addition to transnational 3PL solutions offers regulatory advice and more. The network is geared towards long-term stability and responsible expansion.

With PharmaXnet, companies in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors finally have a European logistics partner in the SME sector that can meet their cross-border requirements with bespoke solutions. These solutions enable clients to simplify pharmaceutical logistics throughout Europe and manage complex market entries.

European coverage via audited, GDP-certified partners

PharmaXnet is actively expanding its network and capacities, extending its range of value-added services, such as order-to-cash, and continuously developing its digital reporting and gateway infrastructure to ensure smooth processes. Clients receive a transparent governance platform and standardised reporting.

When international companies launch a new medicine or medical product on the European market, PharmaXnet can advise on everything from regulatory affairs to hospital portal management. PharmaXnet considers the entire launch process and can implement a seamless transition from centralised to decentralised solutions in terms of scaling. Maurer: ‘The new network can deliver implants to clinics in Europe in good time, for example, if a head physician is planning an operation in the evening and needs the medical device the next morning.

About PharmaXnet:

It is a European network of qualified pharmaceutical logistics providers with central management, quality, and governance. The network was established by LOXXESS Pharma & Healthcare, one of Germany’s leading pharmaceutical logistics providers, which has been collaborating with qualified partners in other European countries for some time. PharmaXnet combines the local operational excellence of qualified third-party logistics solutions with central European control, including standardised quality and governance structures. This makes it an independent alternative to rigid global groups. It is aimed at pharmaceutical and life sciences companies that operate in several European markets or have to manage complex market entry scenarios. PharmaXnet operates independently within the LOXXESS Group.
