August 7, 2023

Ingo Brauckmann, 53, has been CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of LOXXESS AG since August 1, 2023. The experienced manager comes from DB Schenker and will be in charge of the logistics service provider’s entire operational business. The previous members of the Executive Board, the shareholders Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger and Christina Thurner, will move to the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board, which will continue to steer the strategic development of the family-owned company together with the CEO and the Executive Board.

LOXXESS AG, the medium-sized logistics company based in Tegernsee and specializing in complex logistics and value-added services, is continuing its strategic growth course. Ingo Brauckmann, an experienced logistics manager, is taking over the operational management of the family-owned company.

In his professional career, the 53-year-old industrial engineer and Master of Science in Logistics has held management positions at Henkel, DHL, the Berner Group and thyssenkrupp. Among other things, he worked in Sweden and the UK for several years and led teams on both the service provider and customer side. Until the middle of the year, he was responsible for DB Schenker’s contract logistics business in Europe as Executive Vice President Contract Logistics Europe.

The previous board members Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger and Christina Thurner will continue to drive the strategic development of LOXXESS. Among other things, their focus will be on initiating future investments and partnerships, expanding activities within Europe with new locations and properties, as well as public relations and networking within the industry and beyond.

Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger comments on the structural expansion as follows: “With Ingo Brauckmann, an internationally experienced logistics manager is taking over the operational helm at LOXXESS. We are very pleased that he will continue and enrich our successful path with his impulses and experience.”

Christina Thurner emphasizes: “We operate in dynamic markets with many opportunities. The aim of the further expansion of our structures is to lead the company into the future in the best possible way for customers and employees. LOXXESS is thus entering the next successful era strengthened and optimally equipped. At the same time, we will preserve our family character for the next generation.”

Ingo Brauckmann says of the new role: “LOXXESS is a renowned logistics service provider with an outstanding customer spectrum and specific expertise in various market segments. This position is the result of successful management, clear structures and short decision-making paths, as is the case in well-managed family businesses. This is the basis for further growth and holds great potential for the future. I am very much looking forward to this new role and will work with the team to ensure that we meet the dynamically changing requirements of our customers even better and more efficiently and remain an attractive employer for our employees.” This includes, in particular, an expanded European presence and the further development of the service portfolio in the various segments. At the beginning of the year, LOXXESS had already strengthened its management team with Mark Maurer (Pharma) and Kerstin Kunze (Sales & Marketing).
