LOXXESS continues to expand its management structures. Dr. Robert Mauermann has held the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since April 2024. The 41-year-old, who holds a doctorate in business administration, comes from HILTI.
LOXXESS AG, the Tegernsee-based medium-sized logistics company specializing in complex logistics and value-added services, has appointed Dr. Robert Mauermann as CFO. Together with Ingo Brauckmann, who has headed the company as Chief Executive Officer since August last year, he forms the Management Board. Completed by the management team, the two managers are initiating a new development phase at LOXXESS. The operational team will be supported by the shareholders, supervisory board members and advisory board members Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger and Christina Thurner, who will continue to drive the strategic development of LOXXESS.
Dr. Robert Mauermann was born in Munich and studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, specializing in strategic corporate management, production management and controlling as well as strategic decisions (economics). As a doctoral student, he also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Strategic Management in Munich. He also gained practical experience at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, MAN Truck & Bus Mexico and Siemens AG in Munich.
In 2016, he started as a controller at Hilti in Kaufering, where he was appointed Head of Finance and Controlling for the German logistics subsidiary and the Central Europe logistics region in 2021 after holding positions as Senior Controller and Team Leader Credit Management. At the same time, Dr. Mauermann became a member of the local and regional management team. From there, the father of two is now moving to LOXXESS.
Dr. Claus-Peter Amberger, shareholder, Supervisory Board and Advisory Board, comments on the appointment as follows: “In Robert Mauermann, we are gaining a manager who is not only technically adept, but also knows the logistics business well. Together with our CEO, Ingo Brauckmann, we now have a team that will provide decisive impetus for structural development and the further growth process.”
This is exactly what particularly appealed to Dr. Mauermann about the job, he explains:
