  • Ongoing Support: Depending on the situation, LOXXESS employees help with
    storage, moving, etc.
  • The idea for the ongoing donation came from young LOXXESS employees and was enthusiastically embraced by the
    board.

LOXXESS, a contract logistics provider based in Tegernsee, is committed to sustainability—and starting this year, that commitment extends to its Christmas donation as well. The idea came from the NEXXT Gen Board, a group of young employees at LOXXESS. Instead of making a one-time donation at Christmas, they proposed seeking a long-term partnership with a social organization. The entire executive team enthusiastically embraced the proposal and supported its implementation. “Of course, it helps when companies make one-time donations to social organizations. But what we need even more in Germany is a mindset that provides reliable, long-term support for building up these organizations—that’s what we want to achieve with this partnership,” says Ingo Brauckmann, CEO of LOXXESS. The choice fell on HORIZONT e.V. HORIZONT e.V. wants every child and every mother in this country to have a home and real prospects for the future. This is a huge task, because according to the Social Welfare Office, there were approximately 13,500 homeless people in Munich alone in December 2024, including 4,200 children. The apartments that HORIZONT e.V. provides—along with educational programs and practical life support for those in need—should remain in good condition; and if support is needed for this, HORIZONT e.V. staff can call LOXXESS. LOXXESS then provides assistance, for example, with transportation or the storage of materials such as theater props. “LOXXESS is now also helping with the logistics of daily life—something very close to our hearts,” says Ingo Brauckmann happily. LOXXESS is also making a one-time monetary donation: HORIZONT e.V. will receive 10,000 euros. “We greatly appreciate this kind of support from LOXXESS, because homeless children and their mothers suffer in a special way. Very often, they have experienced physical or psychological abuse,” says Nicolas Grünbeck, who is responsible for fundraising and public relations at HORIZONT e.V. Together, the partners want to give homeless children and their mothers what they need most: a home and a future.”
