At the new Rosengarten-Nenndorf pharmaceutical logistics center – just a few kilometers south of Hamburg – everything revolves around the safe, GDP-certified storage and distribution of sensitive healthcare products such as prescription & OTC medicines, veterinary medicines, medical products and food supplements.
Scheduled to begin operations in Q4 2026, the facility meets the complex requirements of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries with continuous temperature monitoring, documented testing processes, and high-performance, redundant cooling technology. Sustainability considered right from the start

For LOXXESS in Rosengarten-Nenndorf, sustainable logistics is not an optional goal, but a central component of the site concept. A rooftop photovoltaic system, electric charging infrastructure for cars and bicycles, and comprehensive LED lighting were all factored into the planning phase and have been in place since August 2026. A high-performance photovoltaic system on the warehouse roof generates green electricity for the facility’s own use. Generously sized rainwater retention and infiltration basins reduce the environmental impact and ensure stable water management. In addition, ecologically enhanced green spaces—featuring existing trees and newly landscaped areas—create valuable habitats for plants and animals. The barrier-free hall design rounds out this forward-thinking concept.
